A maar laboratory
Lake Issarlès is the subject of new research aimed at better understanding its volcanic origin, specifying its age and exploring the sedimentary archives. This research will be presented during an easy walk around the lake.
Municipal Campsite the Edges of the Lake
The campsite is installed on the edge of the lake of unequaled purity due to its volcanic character. You can stay in a chalet or in tipis.
Louvèche Farm
On the mountainside, Stéphanie and Nicolas will be delighted to welcome you. They raise goats and pigs with passion. Come and discover their organic products processed on site: cheeses, cold meats and pork. Farm visit by reservation.

Fishing activities: in float tube
The AAPPMA of Burzet organizes float-tube fishing activities. Open to ages 12 and over. Limited number of places. Registration required.
Troglodyte caves
Near the lake, two caves are carved into the cliff. The upper cave served as a dwelling for the lake guard until the beginning of the 20th century. It is now converted into a museum recounting the history of its troglodyte habitats.

Issarles Lake
Discover one of the jewels of the Ardèche mountains: Lake Issarlès. The latter fills an old maar crater and stretches over 97 ha at an altitude of 1000 m with an exceptional depth of more than 108 meters.
