In our village, at 1250 m. at altitude, there is calm and silence, snow in winter, flowers in spring, tractors and cows in the fields. We are halfway between Lake Issarlès and Mont Gerbier de Jonc.

Bauzon juice
The Bauzon juice is a Strombolian cone culminating at 1471m. Its summit is shared between 4 municipalities: Le Roux, Montpezat, St Cirgues en Montagne, Usclades and Rieutord. Its flow, locally 30-40m thick, spilled out into the bed of the Loire over 8km.
