Description
The Nordic area of La Chavade is located between 1380 and 1504 m. above sea level. You will be in a ski area with 56 km of slopes ranging from 2 km to 20 km. 150 m toboggan run. On-site snack bar, picnic room, equipment rental. ESF school.
The Chavade Nordic ski area offers you 56 kilometers of non-cumulative slopes.
Between the 500-meter pistouilles (slopes for beginners) and the 18-kilometer “Pialada” slope, you will have the choice according to your desires!
From beginners to the most experienced, everyone can ski and discover the area at their own pace.

THE FOREST OF FADATS
An educational and fun space to start, learn and have fun!
The Forêt des Fadats is a fun sliding area, crisscrossing 5 kilometers of slopes in the heart of the area, with varied terrain: steep bends, slides, bumps, gullies, etc.
It is a space where you can ski under the trees, take turns, with a set of small slopes to learn, slide, jump, roll… where young and old can have fun, enjoy themselves and have fun!
This area also includes an educational space allowing you to learn cross-country skiing at your own pace on suitable trails.

NeiJEU Heart Space
A fun and learning space for everyone!
As an extension of the "Fadats forest", it is a play and learning area in the immediate vicinity of the Chavade reception building. Our team takes particular care in terms of snow management and entertainment (supported by reinforced snow cover with natural snow brought back or with artificial snow).
When conditions allow, we set up a series of games, bumps, jumps of all kinds, which facilitate a fun learning of the main basics of skiing. Expert practice is also possible: will you be able to ski backwards or cross the bumps on Jibskates?
But the heart of NeiJEU is also much more! We also offer you a discovery of laser biathlon shooting, by reservation at set times (inquire at reception or on our website).
Cross-country skiing and skating lessons, ESF school.
In addition, depending on the snow conditions, you will find a toboggan run “Le Goulet” and a snow tube run “La Faitirar”.
An area for discovering orienteering is also available. For groups, our ESF managers can help you progress and discover Nordic skiing.
Finally, in certain configurations and in the total absence of snow, we are able to offer you roller-skiing, skike, biathlon, orienteering, etc.
A RECEPTION WITH A CAPACITY OF 200 PEOPLE
The cash desk/ticket office to buy your access to the slopes and rent your ski equipment, snowshoes, sleds, buoys, etc.
Equipment rental where you can pick up your equipment.
A museum space on the Nordic universe in the Ardèche Mountains.
A sanitary block including toilets for men and women.
