Description
In 1764, the quiet village of Saint-Étienne-de-Lugdarès experienced its moment in history. The Beast of Gévaudan had committed its first crime at Les Hubacs.
The painter Gérard LATTIER illustrated this reality, which has become legendary and has even reached the status of myth, through 43 paintings that will surprise you with the richness of their details. This work is exhibited in its entirety in the former chapel of the convent of Saint-Joseph.
