Description
Alone in Essonne, the legendary performance hall on the Bligny hill is reviving "Connaissance du Monde": its adventurers, its unusual journeys, its magical encounters, which - for many of us - awaken all the fond memories of childhood and adolescence linked to this series of illustrated lectures; presented on site and live by the directors of these unique documentary films, which can't be seen anywhere else despite the proliferation of channels and broadcasting platforms!
Because that's the difference. We're not looking at a screen: we're reliving the journey with those who made it, and that changes everything.
We rediscover the sounds, the smells, the strong impressions of human encounters or the discovery of the most ignored, remote, or very close but invisible places; with these landscapes that we can touch; and these people from all over there who breathe with us in the performance hall.
The new season of Connaissance du Monde continues on Sunday, April 5, 2026 at 16:00 p.m. with Japan, featuring Ludovic Tac's odyssey on the island of Kyushu and Bushido.
To understand, you have to go there. Let's go!
