Description
The exhibition is open Wednesdays and Saturdays from 13 p.m. to 18 p.m.
Today at the Hôtel Tingry, his daughter Jeanne Biehn, guardian of his collection, has made a selection of around thirty of his most beautiful costumes, tracing a unique trajectory for this place.
Each stage of Michel Biehn's odyssey, from Burma to Afghanistan, via Syria, Turkey, and India, reveals treasures of textiles, colors, and weaving. Ancestral stories of people and places, passed down from generation to generation, intertwine in this exhibition, a true universal celebration of handwork and a manifesto of the beauty of the unique and the ordinary garment of another time.
