Description
The Saint Cirgues en Montagne Festival Committee invites you to an unmissable day in the heart of the Ardèche Mountains! For over 20 years, the Mushroom and Horse Fair has attracted young and old alike with a rich, authentic, and festive program.
This day of fairs is a time for exchange, sharing, and discovery. The goal is to showcase one of the mountain's riches: mushrooms (both fresh and dried).
With nearly 100 exhibitors, local producers and artisans await you to let you taste, smell and take away the best of the mountains.
The Ardèche Draft Horse Union is present for the second year, with the Horse Fair, as in the past: breeders, merchants and individuals will come with their horses, donkeys and ponies, which will be available for sale.
The Bœuf des Prairies Fleuries brand will also be there, to highlight cattle from the Ardèche plateau and promote breeding that respects traditions.
Numerous activities will also be offered throughout the day: horse-drawn carriage rides, demonstrations by a blacksmith, wood sculptor, leatherwork, the Belle Roue (a human-powered wooden merry-go-round), wooden games, face painting, raffle, etc.
Young and old alike will be able to have a wonderful day.
Once again this year, admission and the entertainment are free, funded by the festival committee, which will run a refreshment bar throughout the day. A meal featuring porcini mushrooms and local produce will also be available for visitors to enjoy.
Not forgetting the restaurateurs of Saint Cirgues en Montagne where no fewer than 5000 visitors are expected.
