Nestled in the heart of the unspoiled landscapes of the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Natural Park, this is a peaceful haven, ideal for slowing down and relaxing. It's also a place to recharge; hiking, mountain biking, and outdoor sports enthusiasts can explore a variety of still-wild areas. Paths and trails starting from the gîte will lead you through moors and forests to the river, or to the nearby Notre-Dame des Neiges Abbey.
Arrival by train is at La Bastide-Puylaurent, a village 20 minutes away. Lakes, listed villages, outdoor activities, inns, restaurants, markets, shops quickly accessible.
The owners live next door, Marie and Laurent welcome you for all-charges included stays with underfloor heating, beds made on arrival, linen provided (spare linen available).
Built with eco-friendly materials, this former farmhouse, with its thick stone walls, offers pleasant coolness in the summer. It comprises a living room with a sitting area and a fully equipped kitchen, one bedroom with a queen-size bed, a low mezzanine with two single beds (which can be configured) accessed via a stepping stone staircase (not recommended for toddlers or people with reduced mobility), and a bathroom with a walk-in shower and toilet. There is a private terrace and access to a garden area. A shared laundry room with a washing machine and dryer is also available.
Parking at the entrance to the gîte in the hamlet square. Secure motorcycle garage. Shared bicycle shelter.
A 2nd gîte can be rented for a stay with family or friends (for 8 people in total) with provision of a large independent room with equipped kitchen.
