In the heart of the Monts d'Ardèche Natural Park, springs, waterfalls, pine forests, and ancient volcanoes combine in a hamlet conducive to exchanges between man and nature.
The hamlet is located in the heart of the Monts d'Ardèche UNESCO Global Geopark at the foot of Mont Gerbier-de-Jonc (1550m) and Mont Mézenc (1754m). Three stone and wood houses have been linked to create a living space conducive to relaxation and introspection;
On the ground floor, a kitchen opens onto a south-facing terrace, perfect for enjoying aperitifs and al fresco meals accompanied by the sound of the stream. A spacious living area centers around a fireplace and features a large, solid chestnut dining table. A mezzanine lounge opens onto a north-facing terrace nestled under the pine trees, ideal for relaxing in the shade. The television is not connected to the internet and is only used for watching DVDs; however, Wi-Fi access is available.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms with two single beds (90x190cm) that can be joined together, and one bedroom with a double bed (140x190cm) and a single bed (90x190cm) in a small alcove. All three bedrooms have private bathrooms (shower and sink) and separate toilets. You can bring your own linens, otherwise they are available for rent.
There is direct access to the mountain for excursions to meet elves and fairies, a beautiful playground for children aged 7 and up, as the site is a bit steep for younger children who will be accompanied by mom and dad to climb the rocks. There is a playground
with volleyball net down by the house next to the parking lot on the other side of the road.
The river flows below the house and there is a superb waterfall, swimming pool and natural jacuzzis a few hundred meters away.
Three kilometers above the hamlet lies the village of Saint Martial, overlooking a lively natural lake that comes alive in the summer with water games, pedal boats, and a sports and leisure area for all ages. There are several restaurants in and around the village.
10 km further down, the DOLCE VIA begins, a superb bike ride on an old railway line that runs along the Eyrieux valley.
ATTENTION ;
* The house is not on one level, it is situated on the mountainside above the parking lot and the departmental road and cannot be accessed by people with reduced mobility;
* The hamlet is inhabited year-round and the tranquility of its residents must be strictly respected; No noisy events;
* Smoking is permitted in outdoor areas.
Pets are welcome on the property. However, please be aware that sheep may roam freely, and cows graze in the nearby pastures, and the house is not fenced; therefore, you must be careful about the animals you bring!

The Tchier de Borée, a work by Fabienne and Serge Boyer, is composed of 70 engraved stones arranged in a circle 80 meters in diameter. Blending art, symbolism, and landscape, this contemporary stone calendar invites contemplation at the foot of the Mézenc mountain.
The Roches de Borée are like a set of phonolitic domes exposed by erosion. Similar to the surrounding peaks (the Pialoux rock, the Gouleïou, the Touron peak), they bear witness to volcanism where the craters remain invisible.
These are typical examples of viscous lava needles that have moved into place almost in a solid state. Here no craters but massive shapes in the landscape. Interpretation table between the two rocks.
