Description
The refuge cabin allows hikers of all types: on foot, by bike, on snowshoes, skiing, on horses or with hiking donkeys to stop there for a night during their wanderings on the watershed or on the GR®7 and GR®3.
In the middle of a beautiful clearing, in a quiet place and in the heart of nature, the cabin is located approx. 2km from Mount Gerbier de Jonc and the Sources of the Loire. It is a former ONF outbuilding that was attached to a forester's house that has now disappeared. This cabin is built in stone with a surface area of approximately 25 m2. It is equipped with a wood stove and allows a dozen hikers to stop there for an evening or eight people to spend the night.
