Description
The Château d'Aubenas recently completed an ambitious rehabilitation project and opened its doors to the public as a Centre for Contemporary Art and Heritage in the summer of 2024. After seven years of work, the magnificently restored heritage site is giving new life to this jewel of medieval architecture. Now a true meeting place between heritage and contemporary creation, the Château offers a varied programme including exhibitions, visits and cultural events, aiming to make this site a must-see in the Ardèche.
Each year, several temporary exhibitions, both personal and collective, will highlight artists of all origins and generations. At the same time, a rich cultural dynamic will punctuate the life of the Château: artistic residencies, conferences, concerts and performances.
