You can swim in water of exceptional purity and at a very pleasant temperature, in complete safety (supervised swimming in summer), or relax on the sand of the beach that borders the lake. You can also go pedal boating, canoeing or stand-up paddle boarding.
A footpath through the shaded undergrowth allows you to walk around the lake while picking wild strawberries, raspberries and mushrooms.
Great hiking and mountain biking trails are possible around the village.
Fishermen will also be delighted: the lake (1st category) is full of brown and rainbow trout, arctic char, salmon, minnows, gudgeon and whitefish. The Loire and La Veyradeyre, rivers in the surrounding area, are not to be outdone.
La Dame du Lac is a natural cliff climbing site. This very pleasant site in the summer, partly developed by the Morel family, has been the subject of additional equipment as part of the Escalade 07 plan, then the Montagne Ardéchoise contract. Near the lake, troglodyte caves have been dug into the explosion products from the Maar crater.
