It flows in a stone trough inside an old renovated farmhouse with a Lauze roof. It is possible to drink water directly from the source.

The Loire has its source in the east of the Massif Central, at the southern foot of Mont Gerbier de Jonc, in the Ardèche commune of Sainte-Eulalie, at an altitude of 1408 m. The geographical source of the Loire: initially a simple trickle of water which gives one of the most beautiful rivers in our country.
