Description
It is here that the Martin couple, helped by their servant Jean Rochette, murdered several travelers who stopped at their house to spend the night in order to rob them. The innkeepers were arrested, sentenced to death and guillotined on October 2, 1833 in the courtyard of the inn. The tall stone marks the exact spot where they were executed.
