Description

This church is proof that children from the Mountain can have brilliant careers. Jean Cazalet d'Usclades entered the abbey of Mazan, from where he was sent to the abbey of Sénanque. He took advantage of this to pursue brilliant studies.
He became abbot of Sénanque, founded the Bernardin college in Avignon, and the chapel of Usclades. This first Romanesque building was remodeled in the XNUMXth century and became a parish church. This church has excellent acoustics. The modern stained glass windows are by Louis René Petit who also made those of Saint Cirgues and Mazan.
