What drives us is to make everything homemade, with local products! Ardèche specialties revisited (lamb, trout, chestnut, etc.). Cooking with wild plants and vegetarian options.
Description
Located in Saint-Pierreville on the site of a former spinning mill, Ardelaine is a cooperative that promotes the resources of its territory!
But what resources? Wool above all because there is no shortage of sheep here. More than 50 fleeces are transformed each year into duvets, mattresses, clothing and pillows. These items are marketed in our shop on site but also throughout France. Our processes are environmentally friendly.
Our skills? Shearing, carding, mattress manufacturing, sewing, styling, knitting… A whole industry had to be restructured!
After forty years of cooperation, around fifty jobs have been created and Ardelaine is now labeled Living Heritage Company.
We invite you all year round to discover the qualities of wool thanks to visits led by enthusiasts, workshops and creative courses for young and old. You will take the time to knit the world together in our café-bookstore and to taste quality local products in our restaurant La Cerise sur l'Agneau.
